We offer a fun, rewarding work environment and a FREE YMCA Membership! The YMCA Personal Trainer instructs and coaches groups or individuals in exercise activities. They develop exercise plans, demonstrate proper exercise techniques, observe and coach clients. Play a significant role in the lives of those you work with by promoting wellness and member engagement! Part Time, Up to 29 hours per week, Flexible shifts based on client need We are looking for someone who displays the values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) through an accredited program such as ACE, NASM, ACSM, ISSA, or AFAA required. Must possess adequate knowledge of strength and cardio principles. Certified in CPR/First Aid or ability to obtain certification within 60 days of employment. Must be able to design a documented workout program for all different types of ages, fitness levels and personalities. Experience with fitness education presentations preferred. Ability to work independently and use time management skills to accomplish the goals of the program within the parameters of the job. Ability to provide personal training services for the YMCA/Family Wellness network only. Outside similar services are considered a conflict of interest.
