Job Title:  Arts and Music Against Corruption in Africa

Description:  Summary Art in Tanzania works against corruption in Tanzania producing advocacy content to social media and in the schools and village societies. Details We perform 5 African Traditional music songs based on drumming and dancing and fusion. Program is continuing until end of Summer 2017. Interns are working in a team of international and Tanzanian multi professional intern teams. We encourage innovation in the program approach. The program is a match for music and dance students, social sector students, human rights students, film and script and choreographic students, social media and TV show production students along other professions along the theme. Also media / communication students are welcome to give the program strong media visibility. We are using our Social Media pages for advocacy work and our Facebook pages have more than 50K followers. Presently we are developing online and mobile platforms to reach children in rural Tanzania as the Rolling Stories https://rollingstories.com/showRoller.php?raw 1519131326051 The working hours are 6-8 hours per day from Monday to Friday. This is ongoing program and we can adjust the starting dates. Interns work in teams of international students and volunteer professionals. Please contact us for information on customized and personalized programming. Arts in Tanzania's internships, facilities and operations are also accessible for those with disabilities. Paid internships include a local minimum wage/stipend of $100 USD per month. We also offer stipends depending on the terms of the internship and regulations of your home university. Starting and end dates are flexible and can accommodate other travel arrangements in Tanzania. International flights, Student permit, accommodation, and meals are personal costs.
