Job Title: Programming/Content Intern
Description: Summary of Position: Dynamic Communities seeks a Programming Intern to engage in day-to-day activities of services and benefits of the user groups, with a focus on the growth and member satisfaction of the user group members through exceptional customer service and the delivery of high value programming. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Create online resources that encourage volunteers and members to utilize the User Group platform Active in maintenance of the online communities, including monitoring engagement, announcements, events and discussion posts Assist with reporting on local user groups, members and volunteers Help to streamline processes by entering data into CRM to create synergies with our web experience Create and publish social media demand generation to attract leads to membership benefits Assist with the planning and execution of local and regional events related to content, speakers and marketing Assist with setup and management of virtual content Assist with managing and promoting the User Group Career Center Assist with compiling event recaps including surveys and volunteer recognition Other projects as assigned Qualifications: Required Strong organizational and communication skills (verbal and written) Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a self-directed, virtual environment Strong attention to detail and time management skills Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor Good computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office programs College student majoring in marketing, advertising, public relations, communications or related field Demonstrated success in working in team environment Good interpersonal skills and team player attitude Preferred Familiarity with basic hardware and software technology, and ability to troubleshoot minor issues Familiarity with social channels, e.g., Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube CRM experience Work Environment/Expectations: Work 15-20 hours per week in the Fargo Office under the supervision of a Program Manager. Laptop will be provided.
