Job Title:  Pharm Chargemstr Analyst

Description:  POSITION SUMMARY The Pharmacy Chargemaster Analyst will work effectively with the pharmacy leadership team, finance department and the informatics services to plan, organize, facilitate and monitor the activities and functions of the pharmacy financial operations. The Pharmacy Chargemaster Analyst will be responsible to provide the financial leadership and direction for the hospital pharmacy charges, both inpatient and outpatient, to ensure continuity and consistency of billing practices in accordance to payer rules and regulations and to manage revenue and costs that contribute to the overall financial health of the department and organization. Required to staff shifts in the pharmacy department as part of ongoing maintenance of technician skills. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS 1.Licenses and Certifications Required Active Pharmacy Technician Registration in the state of North Dakota 2.Educational Requirements 3.Experience Requirements Minimum of 3 years hospital pharmacy experience Knowledge and/or experience with ChargeMaster maintenance, hospital billing and coding preferred, but not required 4.Special Skills or Training Requirements Understands Hospital Charging procedures Knowledge of billing and coding rules/regulations for payors Knowledge in pharmacy and computer applications Ability to perform duties requiring independent judgment Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills Excellent communication skills Excellent organizational skills Excellent computer skills Adaptive to changing work environment Ability to handle frequent interruptions Excellent Interpersonal Skills
