Job Title:  Director, Continuous Improvement

The Director, Continuous Improvement is responsible for developing, implementing and managing strategies and objectives to ensure the achievement of Aldevron's goals to improve performance, quality, delivery, and cost. Qualified candidates will have: Minimum 10 years' experience in Operations and Continuous Improvement roles in complex manufacturing environments, preferably in a biotechnology /regulated work environment. Experience working to regulatory standards: FDA, Good Engineering Practice (GEP), Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMP) and Good Documentation Procedures (GDP). Bachelor of Science in technical or financial disciplines. Advanced (MS or MBA) degree or Master Black Belt or equivalent certification preferred. About the Role Develop and implement a business continuous improvement roadmap including a process for identification, evaluation, prioritization and execution of continuous improvement opportunities work with leadership to deploy the plan, actively lead or champion the project execution, and secure tangible, sustained business results. Lead and drive lean transformation and change initiatives to create and sustain world-class business processes. Facilitate an operating cadence for reviewing improvement initiatives and evaluating their impact. Track, measure, and report progress on improvements. Lead specific high-impact improvement initiatives. Deliver practical, hands-on training in lean manufacturing methodology and tools to eliminate waste, improve quality and productivity. Work with leaders to implement and monitor the effectiveness of continuous improvement efforts. Assesses, coaches, and provides constructive feedback to teams to strengthen lean competencies at the site. Maintain professional and technical knowledge through benchmarking world class lean manufacturing operations and personal technical training. Lead the transformation to a visual factory through 5S deployment and daily management across the business including KPI's.
