Job Title:  Associate Director of Management Services

Description:  Minnesota School Boards Association (MSBA) Join MSBA s Team, Where School Boards Learn to Lead. MSBA is a private, nonprofit organization who is a leading advocate for public education and is dedicated to supporting, promoting, and strengthening the work of public school boards. MSBA is seeking an individual to join the Management Services Team. Responsibilities Assist with and support services and programs in the areas of collective bargaining, human resources management, and school district/employee relations. Assist with updating and/or creating written materials and other resources and tools for members related to collective bargaining, human resources management, and school district/employee relations. Present at conferences, seminars, regional workshops, and in-district workshops. Provide assistance to members in the areas of collective bargaining, human resources management, and school district/employee relations. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Strong interpersonal skills. Knowledge of human resources practices and employment law. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Willing to travel and work selected evenings/weekends. Experience with negotiating collective bargaining agreements is desirable. Knowledge of Minnesota Public Employment Labor Relations Act (PELRA) is desirable. Experience in, or knowledge of, public education is desirable.
