Job Title: Administrative Support -- Board Development Team structure
Description: Minnesota School Boards Association (MSBA) Join MSBA s Team, Where School Boards Learn to Lead. MSBA is a private, nonprofit organization who is a leading advocate for public education and is dedicated to supporting, promoting, and strengthening the work of public school boards. MSBA is seeking an individual to provide administrative support for the Board Development Team structure. Responsibilities Identify, gather, organize, and present information in a clear and understandable format. Design and prepare general correspondence, memos, materials for conferences and workshops, etc. Proofread copy for spelling, grammar and layout, making appropriate changes. Responsible for accuracy and clarity of final copy. Assist with set-up and coordination of workshops, seminars, and conferences. Assist with maintenance and publication of Association s calendar. Answer phones and email inquiries, act as backup receptionist on occasion. Create and update surveys. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Ability to organize and complete work assignments quickly and accurately. Ability to multitask and prioritize many jobs at once. Ability to work under tight time frames while managing competing demands and priorities, exercise independent judgement and adapt to frequent changes in workload and priorities. Ability to solve problems and ask for assistance as needed. Strong interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher. Experience in database software and survey software.
