Job Title: Director of Leadership Development and Executive Search
Description: Join MSBA s Team, Where School Boards Learn to Lead. MSBA is a private, nonprofit organization who is a leading advocate for public education and is dedicated to supporting, promoting, and strengthening the work of public school boards. MSBA is seeking a person to fill the position of Director of Leadership Development and Executive Search. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Provide leadership for MSBA s executive search and superintendent evaluation services and programs. Assist with and support services and programs in the areas of board/superintendent relations and board governance and leadership. Present at conferences, seminars, regional workshops, and in-district workshops. Provide assistance to members in the areas of executive search, superintendent evaluation, board/superintendent relations, and board governance and leadership. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Strong interpersonal skills. Demonstrated presentation, project management, and time management skills. Knowledge of general principles of recruiting and human resources practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience in survey software and Publisher. Willing to travel and work selected evenings/weekends. Knowledge of Minnesota public sector employment-related laws is desirable. Experience in, or knowledge of, public education is desirable.
