Position Purpose Assist in providing engineering services for KLJ Aviation projects in a timely, accurate, and cost-effective manner. Essential Functions Construction observation Assist with design, plans, specifications, reports and contracts Use design software to prepare design documents Read and interpret construction plans Ensure compliance with KLJ quality standards Utilize effective written and oral communication Responsibilities May assist with client management, contractors and public involvement Show increased design competency Become familiar with the details of putting together a set of plans Qualifications A four-year degree in civil engineering is required Experience level is 0+ years Must have a valid driver s license and be able to operate motorized vehicles Preferences: Completion of the fundamentals of engineering exam is preferred Hours and Travel This position requires the individual work 40 or more hours per week. The percentage of time spent in the field and office will vary. The salary for this position is expected to range from $52,560 to $64,240 depending on experience. All applicants must be authorized to work in the US.
