Job Title:  Radiology Supervisor

Description:   POSITION SUMMARY Assists in the planning, directing, implementing and supervising of the department of Radiology to ensure quality patient care and optimal staff development. Maintains Radiology Department files, interviews incoming outpatients or representatives, records data on radiology forms, and enters required information in the hospital system. Assists with and participates in the Radiology Department and hospital wide quality efforts. Willingly accepts and supports the hospital s policies and procedures. Is held accountable for following the policies and procedures of the department and Trinity Health. Additionally, the position serves as a role model for ethical behavior and promotes an awareness and understanding of positive ethical and moral principles consistent with the Mission, Vision and Behavior Standards of Trinity Health. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS 1.Licenses and Certifications Required ARRT registered or registry pending NDMIRTBE licensed 2.Educational Requirements Registered as a Radiologic Technologist / Radiography by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists Graduate of accredited school of radiology 3.Experience Requirements Supervisory experience in Radiology preferred 4.Special Skills or Training Requirements Good organizational and interpersonal skills Understanding of all imaging modalities and the scheduling for each Understanding of operational budgeting / staffing Ability to read and interpret documents Able to use calculator, keyboard, and word processing Able to fax, copy, use Kronos timekeeping system Place orders within current radiology information system Ability to manage multiple priorities Working knowledge of hospital information system and radiology information system Proper phone etiquette
